Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the ABC Adventure Kit — from what’s inside the box to how preschool and kindergarten-aged children can use it for hands-on alphabet learning, tracing and early word building.
About the ABC Adventure Kit
What age is the ABC Adventure Kit for?
The ABC Adventure Kit is designed for children ages 3–6, particularly preschool and kindergarten-aged children who are learning to recognise letters, match uppercase and lowercase letters, practise early writing and begin building simple words. Adult supervision is recommended, especially for younger children.
What comes in the kit?
Each ABC Adventure Kit includes 141 pieces:
- 52 uppercase magnetic letters
- 52 lowercase magnetic letters
- 2 magnetic alphabet boards with printed letter outlines
- 26 reusable dry-erase tracing sheets
- 8 multicoloured dry-erase markers
- 1 storage pouch for the magnetic letters
How big is the ABC Adventure Kit?
The kit box is approximately 28 × 40 cm and weighs about 1.03 kg. The individual components are lightweight and easy for children to handle during play. The kit is also easy to store at home and pack away after use. For dimensions of individual components, please visit the product page.
Are kit components sold individually?
At this time, kit components are not sold individually. The ABC Adventure Kit is sold as a complete set so children can enjoy the letters, boards, tracing sheets, markers, and storage pouch together. If your kit arrives with a missing, damaged, or incomplete part, please contact us within 14 days of delivery so we can review the issue and, where appropriate, provide a replacement part or replacement kit.
Does the kit help with letter recognition?
Yes. Children can practise identifying and matching uppercase and lowercase magnetic letters using the guided alphabet boards, then reinforce their learning through tracing and word-building activities.
Is the ABC Adventure Kit suitable for preschool and kindergarten learning?
Yes. The kit is designed for children ages 3–6 and supports skills commonly practised during preschool and kindergarten, including letter recognition, uppercase and lowercase matching, tracing, early writing and simple word building.
Using the ABC Adventure Kit
How can children use the kit?
Children can match magnetic letters to the alphabet boards, practise uppercase and lowercase letter recognition, trace letters on the reusable sheets, sort letters, build simple words, spell names and create their own alphabet games. The kit is designed to support hands-on, screen-free learning through repeated play and practice.
Can children build words with the kit?
Yes. Children can use the magnetic letters to build their names, animal names and simple everyday words. The front of each magnetic board supports guided letter matching, while the blank reverse side provides open space for word building and independent letter play.
Are the tracing sheets reusable?
Yes. The tracing sheets are made for dry-erase practice, so children can trace, wipe, and use them again. For best results, use the included dry erase markers and wipe the sheets clean after each play session.
Can children write on the magnetic boards?
The magnetic boards are designed for magnetic letter placement and word-building with the magnetic letters. The dry erase markers are intended for use on the reusable tracing sheets, not the magnetic boards.
What happens when the dry erase markers run out?
The kit includes 8 small dry erase markers designed for children’s hands. When the markers run out, families can use standard dry erase markers from local stores. For best results, use dry erase markers only on the reusable tracing sheets and wipe them clean after each play session.
Digital Resources
Is the companion guide included in the box?
The 30 Alphabet Adventures companion guide is an optional free digital download. It is not inside the physical box, but families can download it from the "Home" or "For Parents" sections of our website for extra activity ideas, letter games, and simple ways to get more play from the kit.
Do children need a screen to use the kit?
No. The ABC Adventure Kit is designed as a hands-on, screen-free learning experience. The optional 30 Alphabet Adventures companion guide and Artemora Learning digital apps are separate resources for families who want additional learning ideas or digital activities. Neither is required to use the kit.
