Different Ways to Use the ABC Adventure Kit

  • Match & Place

    Children can place uppercase and lowercase magnetic letters on the boards and match them to their outlines.

    The kit includes separate uppercase and lowercase magnetic letter boards so children can explore the difference between big and small letters. They can match each magnetic letter to its outline, notice letter shapes, and begin recognizing uppercase and lowercase forms through hands-on play.

  • Trace, Wipe & Repeat

    Each reusable tracing sheet focuses on one letter, giving children a simple way to practice both the uppercase and lowercase form of that letter. Encourage your child to follow the tracing lines slowly with the included dry erase markers, say the letter name out loud, and notice how the big and small letters look different. When they’re done, wipe the sheet clean with the attached eraser and let them try again as much as they want.

  • Build Words

    Use the plain back of the magnetic boards as an open space for word-building. Start with simple words like names, animal words, family words, or everyday words your child already knows. You can build the word first and ask your child to copy it, or let your child choose letters and create their own words through play.

  • Letter Hunt

    Choose one letter and invite your child to search for it in the magnetic letters, on the tracing sheets, around the room, or inside a favourite book. You can ask, “Can you find the letter B?” or “What things in this room start with this sound?” This turns letter recognition into a fun little treasure hunt.   • Colour Sort

    Invite your child to sort the magnetic letters by colour, then name or count the letters in each group. This is a simple way to combine letter play with colour recognition, matching, and early organizing skills. For an extra challenge, ask your child to find one uppercase and one lowercase letter from the same colour group.

  • Group Play

    Encourage your child to use the kit with siblings, friends, or grown-ups. Take turns picking letters, matching them to the boards, tracing them, or building simple words together. Group play helps children practice sharing, taking turns, listening, and celebrating each other’s learning.

  • Sound It Out

    Pick a letter and say its sound together. Then help your child think of simple words that begin with that sound, like “B is for ball” or “M is for moon.” You can also ask your child to choose the matching magnetic letter and place it on the board. This helps connect letter recognition with early phonics and word awareness.

  • Spell Your Name

    Children love seeing their own name in letters. Help your child find the magnetic letters in their name and arrange them on the plain back of the board. Say each letter together, then let your child try building the name again. You can also try names of siblings, friends, pets, or favourite characters for extra fun.

Care, Clean-Up & Storage

  • Do Not Bend or Fold Any Component

    Keep the magnetic boards, tracing sheets, and other kit pieces flat when using and storing them. Bending or folding the pieces may affect how they look, feel, or function during play. After each activity, place the boards and sheets back neatly so they stay in good condition.

  • Store in a Cool, Dry Place

    When playtime is over, store the kit in a cool, dry place away from water, heat, or damp areas. This helps protect the magnetic letters, boards, tracing sheets, and packaging so the kit is ready for the next alphabet adventure.

  • Wipe Tracing Sheets Clean

    The tracing sheets are dry erase, so they are made to be used again and again. After tracing, let the marker ink dry for a moment, then wipe the sheet clean with the included eraser or a dry cloth (not included) for best results.

    Wiping the sheets after each use helps prevent marker residue from building up and keeps them ready for the next round of letter practice.

  • Keep Away from Water

    Do not immerse any component of the kit in water. The kit is not designed to be soaked, washed in a sink, or cleaned with lots of liquid. For everyday clean-up, use the included eraser or a dry cloth on the tracing sheets.

  • Do Not Eat or Swallow Kit Pieces

    The ABC Adventure Kit is for learning and play only. Children should not eat, chew, or attempt to swallow any component of the kit. Adult supervision is recommended, especially for younger children.

  • Only Use Markers on the Tracing Sheets

    The dry erase markers are intended for use on the reusable tracing sheets only, not on the magnetic boards. The boards are designed for placing and arranging magnetic letters, while the tracing sheets are designed for writing, wiping, and repeated letter practice.

    Keeping the markers on the tracing sheets helps protect the magnetic boards and keeps each part of the kit working the way it should.
